They are nice enough, and if it were not for them I could not have fixed the moke anywhere near this quickly, they just have a weird fixation on not modifying them as if they have to all be returned to factory specification or something... of course then they had issues with me not installing seat belt mounts in my early 65. He won't even discuss with me acquiring an Aussie style back panel to add the longer arms on it. *shrug* Just tell him you want it to replace the part on a moke of that correct era. BUT seeing as all the mokes use the same boot floor, perhaps it's not the boot floor that it will interfere with but the stock mounting of the seat for your year moke that does?

Chris, you could try asking Leo at Moke panels. He may be able to make one or have a pattern you could copy.

Just sent off an inquiry to Moke Panels, see what they can come up with. Thanks for the suggestion, if all else fails I'II measure up some at the 30th do and get something made locally.

You could bolt it to the moke floor behind the rear seats or have it with a quick release clip (or two) inside at the bottom.

Does the bottom extend to the base of the sloping sides of the Mini Moke?

No it doesnt, I've located it up to one side (drivers side) so it gives me approx. 300mm space the other side, for other stuff! Box is 640mm long x 235mm deep x 235mm tall.

have had a couple of the boot compartments they will go straight in, you could bolt it in so as not to ruin the "originality" of your moke, i have removed them before now from the later mokes, as regards putting the longer radius arms on a moke i converted a portugeuse moke to aussie spec for a chap some ime ago, make the rear extensions measured and cut the rear panel fitted the radius arms and handrake cables job done. A moke is a moke be it english aussie or whatever.
