The floor pan on my Moke has a number of drain holes which after returning from Himley yesterday in torential rain, proved there worth!
However, upon opening up the side panels, there was some water ingress the worst being the battery housing which had half an inch of water. I've dried it all out now but I'm wondering if these compartments are supposed to have drain holes? The seals on the covers are not that effective (battery cover has no seal at all), mind you it was coming down that fast I dont think anything would have stopped it getting in.
Anybody have drain holes or put any in?
Cheers
Chris

Re: Drain holes
I'm sorry I can't help with the early mokes, however certainly the later ones didn't have any drain holes. Silly really.
Old Mokers never die, they just smell that way.
