My Mini Moke came with wheel arch inserts. See pics.
Unfortunately they are at the end of their functual life.
Anyone know where I can get replacements?
My Mini Moke is and Australian style one.

Well, why don't you take them off? a lot of people do it, or are they needed for your traffic rules?

Re: Wheel arch inserts
They are off. They finally started splitting.
I was looking for replacements, as the wings now have a load of tiny holes where rye bolts were.

You get used to them. I don't even notice mine now as the rubbers have been off for so long

Re: Wheel arch inserts
If you don't like the Mini and Moke world ones, you won't like these. Although I'd guess they are of a very high standard.

So the only other option is to make them yourself.

There were some Choke ones knocking around a couple of years back, but my guess is that they'd be made out of the usual standard of cheap modern rubber and probably already be perished when they arrive.

Insertion rubber probably has a different name in your part of the world, but its just rubber sheet with a layer of cotton fabric in the middle. It generally last pretty well.

I do not think I'll find any 'nsertion rubber' here. Will have to keep a look out for an alternative material.Tim wrote:Insertion rubber probably has a different name in your part of the world, but its just rubber sheet with a layer of cotton fabric in the middle. It generally last pretty well.
