Hi , rear subframe front bolts to the fixed tapped plates within the the rear compartments on both sides, the subframe rear mounts are on the crossmember that runs under the rear floor pan . So 4 bolts only at front and four nuts and bolts at rear..

Hope this helps ...JB

Hi,
There are usually shims under the 2 front mounts as well to align the subframe.
Not sure how to check it though.

My Mokes are later models. Just went for a look and both the front and rear mounts are narrower at the base than the one you have posted, so, sorry cant say where it normally fits

There are various shapes of the rear mounting blocks. Some using two long bolts, some using one long one short . I've seen alloy ones and steel ones too. Whatever style you have they are all pretty much the same mounting ( the rear crossmember)

I tend to agree.
I just mowed the lawn and had a look at our '66 MOKE (Project for later  ) and there are two different types. The ones at the very back of the MOKE are the same as pictured earlier, however, the front pair are tapered towards the long bolt hole.

Brum took this pic during his build thread and is the closest I can find.
