Hi,
This looks a good alternative and still should be loud enough under the bonnet. The one I fitted was 90 dB and I had to put a bit of tape over it was too loud in the cabin.

Thanks Spider for the heads-up on the flasher relay! Fitted and works a treat. It's just under the dashboard on the Mini so just the right volume for when the hoods down...
