Headlights

Post by peterbradbury »

So main beam no longer works on my sealed beam units (and it turns out they are left hand drive ones too!!!!!), are halogen units a straight swap or if fitting relays advisable? Sealed beams don't bother me one bit, but seems worth asking the question

I think they are a straight swap, providing you don’t use higher wattage bulbs

It's actually possible to go to lower wattage globes because, the QH globes produce more light. Relays are a good idea though. They help with voltage drop and you can easily add fuses with them.
