Identifying a replacement speedo

Post by frenchjohn »

Hi all,
The speedo on my 1965 (British) moke over reads by about 15-20% so I think that at some stage it has been replaced with one from a car with 12 inch wheels (mine is fitted with 10"). I would like to replace the speedo with one that reads more correctly, does anyone have any clues about how to identify the correct model? I am looking for one in KPH and with the indicator light at the top in the centre.
Many thanks for any help you can provide

Hi John. Best solution is to get it recalibrated and serviced at the same time, and change it to Km's. Try these, used them several times:- http://www.speedograph-richfield.com/

Thanks grantourer, that sounds like a good option.
