Where is everyone?

Freewheeling banter.....anything goes as long as it's clean and nothing to do with Mokes.

Where is everyone?

Post by Robin Jones »

Here we are in the middle of quality Moking season and this place is dead as a doorstop.
Nobody has problems, questions, gripes 'n bitches ?????
Maybe the Brits are finally coming around and celebrating the 4th of July.
"We're finally rid of those pesky colonials. But, it won't last. They'll come back on hands 'n knees begging to be let back in....."

Haven't you heard Robin?
The Sun is shining in Ol' Blighty.
They are all out on the road, tops down, no time to be trawling the net (even in the middle of the night).
I can even smell the BBQ smoke infused aroma of an English Summer heatwave here. Disposable foil BBQ tray, Tesco BBQ pack, tepid cans of Stella and Wimbledon on the box.
Bliss!

At 6am? Did you fall asleep there? Or is that where you're living now?

Hi Robin,
Yes apart from the odd thunderstorm and hailstones, the weather is pretty good so we are all out and about!
This is us last weekend in the Isle of Wight enjoying the sun!

I'm glad the northern summer has been so good. We've just finished off the coldest winter in my lifetime. Get this, I had to drive through snow to get to work, three times!

I've barely had the Moke out , but that's mostly because all of the people I give rides to complain about it.

Spring is here now and things are looking up!

Tim, you live 3 miles from the South Pole - I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often for you guys.

It's quite cold there today. I just checked our website, its approximately 84°C warmer here than at Dome Argus in Antarctica.

This is worth a look, you can see how lovely it is at each of the Australian Antarctic stations just now.
