I am planning a tethering system for mine, similar to that used on racing sailboats. ;)

Hi Peter

Al I can say is wow! what a fantastic job you're doing.

Thanks for putting up so many clear pics on flickr, I've just downloaded a bunch to help me and my panel beater figure out the correct fit for the panels. Mine had some modifications made to it, the worst of it is the rear tub has been completely hacked around, I believe to fit in a front subframe so that it could take a diff & become 4WD. This crazy sh!t only happens in Malta....

The problem now is I have bought several original panels but trying to figure out which parts on the car should be there, and which shouldn't has become a nightmare... until I found your pics, so thanks again.

If mine turns out half as good as yours I'll be well pleased!

Work has finally started so I'll be updating my resto blog soon. I think mine will also be in OEW but the seats probably dark green. No rush, as the spray is months away anyway :)

Big pat on the back from here!
Steve

Hi, mokeinmalta,
and thanks so much for the kind words! I am glad my pictures have been found by someone who can use them for this moke restoration stuff. The welding and fitting is amazingly time consuming and a bigger job than I anticipated.

It's all the spot welding and on two sides of each panel........... whew! Enjoy and good luck - have fun!

It's my belief that it's harder to paint a Moke shell than a mini
