There are different lengths of fan belt, have you got the right one? BUT if the belt were slipping you would hear it

The one to suit a dynamo is an 11A815 (in a metric belt).
Old Mokers never die, they just smell that way.

Hi thanks for info, I have got the shortest belt from mini spares that is for cars with Dynamo and alternator...but still not convinced? ....James

Take a piece of string and wind it around where you need it to go and measure and or mark. Then go to a parts place and get one that size. It's worked for me.
