I've seen them with seats like your front ones and I've seen them with bench seats like your back one Perhaps one of our experts could help?

I seriously doubt it's a factory one, the bum bit is pretty small on that one! The factory did have 2 versions that I know of. I think one had a tubular frame and the other did use folded angle. The back rest on both of these did fold down flat-ish.

Where can i order 'original' Mud Flaps for the Aussie ?

You can't really.

The early models only had plain rubber ones, sometimes with an aluminium front badge pop-riveted across them. You could easily duplicate them in flat rubber sheet. Later cars (later than yours) had fancy moulded ones with the word Moke surrounded by a circle. Part number HYE1174.



Genuine ones have been unavailable for many years, but reproduction ones seem to come and go. There does seem to be a couple of options for them at the moment. A quick bit of googling for the part number or "Moke mud flaps" brings up several suppliers - I suspect that the quality varies a bit. Moke Australia and Minisport Australia both list them. I'd buy the more expensive ones.

Its probably fair to say that most people run without mud flaps. They can be a bit of a problem if you reverse into something. The mud flaps get caught against the tyre and are sometimes pulled off, torn in half, or even damage the rear mud guard.

it is from 1968 of later but that is now problem looking nice

There is certainly.
We put the Moke back on his 13" wheels.
The original rear trailing arms are present.
Now I will look for the original wheels, steel wheels
If anyone knows where i find the five wheels in Europe ?

Today i visit the car paint shop. I give the lid cover panel for example color.
Also the originals numbers, but with this numbers they can not make the color.
Then they have scan the plate to view with the computer.

This is the results:

Be very careful if trying to match the colour from an original panel. Some of the colours fade very badly over time. My Moke was repainted by the previous owner, and they seem to have matched the colour to a faded part. It should be Scarlet O'Hara - red with a slight orange tint to it, but instead its just orange really.

I don't think fading will be that fading will be that much of a problem round here, you need an excess of sun for that. It's more likely to be red with a hint of rust.
