Hi
I am a new member and not sure whether I will be welcomed on here as I don't actually own a Mini Moke.
However I have, in my own mind, the next best thing as I have recently bought a Kit Car on Ebay(No 121732079704)
It is a 1992 Jimmini Moke on a Q Plate and I haven't actually sighted it yet as it is being delivered in a week's time.
I suspect that "I will get what I paid for" but I wondered if anyone could furnish me with any information about it?
ie were they built on a Mini Chassis, how many were built(apparently there are Mark I and Mark 11's. Does or has anyone
ever owned one? Where can I get insurance etc etc, in fact any information no matter how obscure would be welcomed.
I see you have a few get togethers - suppose these are limited to bone fide mokes but just thought I would ask?
regards
Martyn

Hi Martyn,
Welcome to THE forum, indeed you are welcome whether you have a Moke, choke, jimmini, scamp. In fact we even have some ants on here, but don't worry we've put some powder down for them
I afraid I don't know much about jimminis other than they use mini sub frames and assorted parts from the donor car, and as for insurance, I should think that'll be a case of trawling the specialist brokers to see who offers the best classic/kitcar deal for you, your area etc.
And......of course you are welcome to any of the club events (there's been at Least one jimmini there before that I know of)
You just have to pay your membership
