the place to be is between Worcester and Gloucester ?
Because we must make our plans. I don't think we can come from friday, because we are on 20h30 in Dover. Maybe we take a hotel in Swindon then and on saturday we come to the Campsite

There was an invite sent out with the last magazine.
The event will be held at the Robin Hood Pub, Castlemorton Common http://robinhoodcastlemorton.co.uk/
Saturday 27th April from 11am continuing all day.
Full bar and menu available.
Please book early as there are limited places.
RSVP Kay Willis (contact details in the mag).
Dean
PS: The invite mentions the 26th only but the mag says the whole weekend so I assume the Saturday is the actual birthday "party".

Thanks for the advise, sounds like a good idea to do it in stages, you guys must think I'm a woose but as it will be my first outing of any distance, I'm taking it slowly!
Are you going to this event then? If so may see you there.
Chris
Hey Chris... you'll be just fine :D I thought we did quite well - the 2011 National - PJ, Graham, Paul and Karen H and us.... drove up from South Oxfordshire (us that is, and Gloucestershire - PJ) via the Fosse Way, then Peak Distruct, Yorkshire Dales arriving in Arkholme (lakes) 11 hours later in the pouring rain!... then you hear what some do to get to IMM events :o A drive to Worcestershire is just a walk in da park 8)

My travel plans have changed... Nigeria trip cancelled as the insurance company have refused me K/R cover. I asked them "what is K/R". They said "Kidnap and Ransom". I cancelled trip  So can make it. Will book in ASAP but may bring the 'Cinch' tent if weather is OK.

BTW Dean... why have you changed your avatar to a Portaloo?

Been looking for a bit of K/R but no-one in leicestshire seems interested. Dean has found the ideal vehicle - Hardtop with privacy and if you drive it like a lunatic , you can s**t yourself in luxury

   That's the spirit guys... i can tell people must have been out in their Mokes this weekend. The dialogue is becoming more Moke like already.

I just have that image in my mind.... one of the Jackass stunts I believe - involving a portaloo (full after a party weekend) suspended upside down from a crane with one of the characters inside :D
