Hi all, due to circumstances, we have not booked a Moke stand for this years event.....However, I have today sent a belated "Stand Request" to the organisers. As & when I receive a reply, I will let you know. Kind regards, Andy.

Hi all, I have today received this reply from Donna Upton, the organiser of the Brooklands Mini Day. Basically she says that all the stands are fully booked but they can park us on the "Banking" but at this stage they cannot guarantee we will all be together but I think that we can manage to to it! So if you turn up without a ticket & pay on the day, then just ask for directions for the "Banking" See you on the 29th. Andy.

FUD's engine is 1293 A+ by Rob Walker - very powerful and sounds great!

A+ Metro Turbo engine less the turbo
Skimmed head, ported
Bored +20thou with Hepolite 21253 pistons
276 Kent cam
1.75" Hiff44 Carb
New distributor with electronic ignition
Rebuilt Standard rod change gearbox with 3.2 Final drive and cross pin diff
LuK rally plate clutch and cover with lightened flywheel. :D

Was going to replace with lazy but effective 1098 A series gold (less than 300 miles run) but have decided that smiles are more important - will change wheels for more vertical rubber to enhance ride and reduce tracking.

Standard Aussie 1275, with Metro inlet and Janspeed LCB, built by Southam Mini & metro, the guys who do the Historic Monte Cooper engines, great fun, lots of smiles and still reasonably economical

Standard Austin 1965 848cc, Austin cast iron inlet, Standard pea shooter single box exhaust, 998cc cylinder head! (must have increased bhp to at LEAST 36!) Lots and lots of smiles and very economical!
