Hi All,

I'm after a favour, already I know!!

Anyone got a spare seat for the run out on Saturday, got a friend of mine coming for the day with his family and I'm one seat short from my fleet of three vehicles. I'll let you pick which of my family none drivers.

Thanks in advance
Simon

I shouldn't worry about it. There'll be plenty of seats going spare, there usually is so it can be sorted on Saturday morning

Nigel

Back now after a very hot but untroubled journey on 'the truck of shame' ! Many thanks to you and other's for a great weekend. For the 'RAC audience,' Moke is booked in this week for 'open wallet surgery' and RAC eventually put Kieran and I up in a hotel (with breakfast) in Catterick. It was a great pity that for whatever reasons so many other members of the Moke Club missed out on such a memorable and enjoyable National.

Best regards

Jez

Hi Nigel,
Great National, would have been even better if the moke hadn't blown the head gasket on the way up!
Seems I'm not the only one on the truck of shame Jez, what was the problem!

I'd also like to add my thanks to Nigel for a really enjoyable weekend and 1st Moke Club event for me. I'm afraid you haven't managed to put me off and I'll be back for more in the future!

Make that another one, I also left this morning on the back of a very large yellow taxi.

Hi Nigel, Helena and I wanted to add our thanks to others for such a great weekend. We really enjoyed it and apologies once again for having to leave early. Sorry to hear about the truck of shame journeys of others and hope everyone is ok.
Look forward to seeing some of you again in Wales in a few weeks time.

Hi Peter,
Was yours the head gasket as well?
Seems that was the problem with mine and Jez's mokes!
Also great to meet you at last, hope to see you at more events!

Hi Chris,

No in my case the battery boiled over due to a suspected problem with the alternator.

Certainly be along to more in the future.

Well done Syksie for all your hard work in sorting a memorable National in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Do you have a direct line with "HIM" upstairs as the weather was pretty well organised too, given that we were "Up North" where it always rains?

Also nice to see some new young blood from Huddersfield enjoying his first Moke, event even if it did end with a ride on the truck of shame. Thanks for putting up with us Peter.

Talking of the truck of shame!

Not a pretty sight!
Looks a little lost on the truck!

All sorted now, cylinder head gasket had blown between No. 2 and 3 cylinders.
Some more photos on the gallery, any more?
