Mini in the Park (MITP) August 18th

Post by jocro69 »

MORE EVENTS! On Sunday 18th, following the IMM2019, MiniWorld Magazine will be hosting the 'Mini in the Park' (MitP) event at Mallory Park in Leicestershire. The Club has been offered a FREE club display area and FIVE FREE passes to those Moke Club Members who would like to attend. So, if IMM is too far or inconvenient to attend and you would still like to get together with fellow Mokers in August, this is an excellent opportunity. Please post your interest here, or on the Mini Moke Club facebook page and further information will be supplied by the Moke Club events department.

Thanks Chris. Would you be prepared to organize a Moke Club presence? If so, I will publicise this and inform Karen from Mini Magazine.

The organizers are hoping for a good display of Mokes to celebrate the 55 years.

I have been in touch with Mini World, the organizers, and we now, possibly, have 4 mokes attending. If we can get 5 then we get a separate stand to celebrate 55 years of the Moke.
I know it's a stretch as it's the next weekend on from the IMM but as it's at Mallory Park and there's a chance that we could take the Mokes on a track day session (I don't know if there would be a cost involved yet) but the tickets into the show will be free for the five.
Let me know asap if anyone else is interested.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Chris,

I'd be interested in coming along. Don't suppose you know what time we'd have to be there for?

Thanks

I've a little bit of coolant bubbling from the front of it when running, its not huge but needs tackling.

Hi,
I now have the min 5 mokes attending, however, we may be able to squeeze one or two more on the stand but you would need to be quick! Deadline would be 5th August.
