One thing you can do when in the middle of a thunderstorm - post on the forum!!
Having said that, I've just looked up and its sunshining again, so will have to stop all this tapping of keys and get the Moke out again!

Spoke toooooooo soon! just got the garage door open, all gone black and noisy (thunder!). Oh well back to the forum!

That's why they have the holes in the floor....... They're not to ensure your feet get wet when you stall in the middle of a ford you know

But what are they for in a hot climate.

ShouldI stick rubber bungs in them, or paint them shut with numerous coats of bitumastic paint.

They allow all the spilled "boat drinks" to exit the vehicle in those climates ;)
