Correcting mistakes in your own post

Post by Doug G »

Why isn't there the facility to edit and correct your post, or even delete it, once it is posted? :?:

The editing could be given a time period, like on other forums, e.g. 5 minutes.
Having a moking good time!

You can edit your posts Doug. But for a limited time only, though it is ample time in most cases, after that you need to ask a moderator

Ours is not quite a limited as 5 minutes though. It's 48 Hours.
What made you think you couldn't edit your posts?

Cant' see how he would of got the idea from that post Spider. Says nothing there about not being able to edit in the manner he states in his post. Doug was part of that discussion anyway.
The time limit was introduced way back in March so not that recent now.
