Yep, it had external door hinges but I didn't think it had flush handles? Tried blowing up the only pic that shows the door, thus

Flush handles didn't kick in until 1971, right at the very end of Australian Cooper S construction. There were reputed to be only something like 180 that got them (mostly police cars), so they are very rare. A few more Mini Ks (K for kangaroo) and all of our Clubman fronted Minis had the flush 'flappy' handles.
Chris, I didn't comment on how good the Moke looked, because it wasn't necessary, they always look good!
