Just trying to get my 1968 Moke ready for spring.
Starter motor only half turning over and there is a smell of burning.
Now the battery is flat but the battery is tightly screwed into place and there is no indication which terminal is which.
I have a battery charger ready but is it positive or negative earth? (I'm assuming the terminal with the earth attached is the 'earth')
I know this is a basic question but my Moke has started every time first time for years and I've never had to re-charge.
Moke garraged in Stocksbridge, Sheffield if anyone is passing.
Thanks
Steve

If it has the original charging system (Dynamo) and hasn't had any kind of conversion done, it will be Positive Earth.
Old Mokers never die, they just smell that way.
