Minis at the Mill (Event - Aust)

Post by spider »

(I don't know where this is supposed to go, please move if warranted)

Another thread to lock away,,,,,,,,,

The Hot Bricks Mini Car Club of South Australia host this annual event at our National Motor Museum, the Birdwood Mill located in the Adelaide Hills. They always put on a great event, and this years was no exception, was the biggest turn out since 1998 I believe. It's one of our Premier Mini Events. It was on last weekend and I was lucky enough to have time to make it.

Also, a special personal thanks to jack for giving me his Missus to thrash about in while I was in town.

Even the drive up to the event is somewhat 'action packed' and always a thrill :D

A bit of a 'Mini' traffic jam getting in

As it'll get lost way down the list of photo's, I'll kick off with my good friend Jack's Moke. He built this up as a 'head turner' over the past 4 or so years, it's been on the road since Easter of this year, been to 2 only shows and taken out 3 First Prizes. He's done us all proud and I take something from that as I did spin a spanner or two on Jack's behalf.

This time around Jack took out First Prize in the Moke Category, but the real surprise to all of us was First Prize Peoples Choice!

People from all around the nation came to show their beauty's. Special thanks to Chris for coming over from Sydney. And lend his Mini knowledge to some people.
