Certificate of Conformity CoC

Post by weef »

Hi
I am trying to register a 1979, 998cc Australian Moke with the DVLA and have a V55/5 form to complete.
Can anyone help me out regarding a CoC and any advice on completing the V55/5 form, as some of the questions seem impossible to answer i.e. drive by sound level, engine speed sound level, particulates g/kWh etc ?
Does anyone have any experience with this process, do all the questions have to be answered ?, all assistance will be appreciated.

Regards Ian

Hi Ian. As your Moke is over 10 years old, you will not need a Certificate of Conformity. However if you have no documentation from the seller, presuming you have imported it from Australia, like a Registration document etc. You will need an inspection from The Moke Club. Also if you have imported it, have you completed NOVA ( Notification Of Vehicle Arrival ), Google DVLA NOVA, with out NOVA you will never be able to register it. I have recently done 3 vehicles, but mine came from Germany with registration papers.
