Mini Moke prices

Just had a look at the prices of Mini Mokes in the Issue #162.

I had to sit down for a few minutes, and take several deep breaths.

The top price is £31,000.00 (previously offered at £51,000.00).

One at £29,995.00

others at £28,995.00,

two at 26,500.00,

and another at £22,995.00

with three others over £21,000.00.

We're not quite seeing those sorts of prices achieved here in Australia yet. There have been a number of Mokes advertised at very high prices (not quite £31,000.00 though) but I don't know if any of them had sold at those prices.

When I first got into it, they were still regarded as borderline scrap metal. They were traditionally the cheapest vehicle you could buy in Australia and were invariably flogged to death and discarded when they rusted to nothing. As a result, they are very thin on the ground nowadays. I couldn't afford to buy a Moke anymore.
