Just beginning to get some ownership stuff together and need to get some books. You can spend a fortune on this stuff.
Which books are the recommended ones and which ones are not worth a look at please.
Many thanks,
Nick

Re: Which books and manuals?
The question must be, what subjects do you need in the books?
Service manuals?
Stories about mokes?
History of ditto?

Re: Which books and manuals?
Well, there are those that decry them.......but........I'd say as good a place to start as any would be a Haynes manual, there's plenty of editions covering the various years and they are pretty cheap compared to the pukka workshop books. If you visit the bay of fleas and search for " Haynes mini manual" you should be well catered for
BTWalways go for the cheapest copy as they are pretty much all the same and will cover what you need to know even though they are for the saloon models. Any moke specific answers can usually be found here

I prefer the orange book http://www.mokeclub.org/shop/index.php? ... duct_id=54. The comprehensive manual with the Australian supplement. I reckon its the most detailed one.
