Petrol filter

Post by Farmer »

Does anyone know where the fuel pickup filter in the fuel tank can be obtained from?

It’s the same as the filter fitted to the end of the saloon tank pickup pipe. Just cruise the autojumble section at any mini show until you turn up a tank for £1, then cut it open and help yourself........it worked for me :D

Following that reply I went n to fleabay and had a quick search under classic mini fuel tank and the cheapest I found was £15. But honestly, I found two at last years IMM for a quid each....it’s just a case of waiting long enough if you have the time

Go to an automotive panel beater / paint supply store and ask for a spray gun filter that is used with a spray pot . Not quite as fine but same filter and a couple of dollars.
