Hi everyone, I've just had my Portugese back from the paint shop looking pretty but can anyone tell me please the best way of fixing the rubber kick pads to the bodywork? The old ones looked a bit tatty and were riveted in the corners but were all warped and tatty. I was thinking of 3M tape but didn't know if there was another/better/proper way?
Many thanks

Re: Rubber kick pads
I don’t know the official method of fixing so all I can offer is the method I used many many years ago when I had some rubber along the top of my Aussie moke sides. Evostik, spread it over the tops of the sides and the back of the rubber, left it for ten minutes then whacked it on there. Weighted it down overnight and it lasted many years without coming even slightly loose
