No worries, I'm sure you'll get on top of it.

Internal stuff doesn't usually screech, they generally tap or knock. What ever it is, I doubt that its serious (as in expensive) and should be fairly easily fixed.

That's what all my diesel engine experience tells me.
The engine is somewhat wild, so I'm hoping it won't go pop too soon.
