The engine is an 'A' series 998 cc circa 1973

Am considering replacing the distributor in my MiniMoke.

Found

Alternatively I may buy a cap and a rotor and new leads.

Suggestion as to which distributor, I don't see much (which could be a VERY important detail) difference.

Anyone here installed the electronic version one?

If so, which electronic version for a 988 cc A series engine?

The distributors number ( the one that starts with 41) will be stamped on the body of the dizzy fitted to your moke.

Unfortunately the distributor that is in [was removed and two of us had a good look] the Mini Moke does not have any numbers stamped on or in it.

Nor is there any evidence that any numbers were ground off.

After much research, faffing about and consideration I have purchased a SKU# PSK-D10-98
59D4 Lucas Type Distributor with Electronic Ignition £71.00 from Mini Sport.

Looking forward to he first week of December.

I understand that it should be a fairly straight forward installation.

Stand by for an up date.

Anyone done this distributor swap over?

Make sure you have the correct coil to suit the electronic distributor.
Mini Sport will advise the correct one for you.

You wont regret never having to constantly clean and adjust points ever again either.
