Oil pressure gauge

Post by Doug G »

Does your Mini Moke have an oil pressure gauge?

Were oil pressure gauges ever standard on a Mini Moke?

Which oil pressure gauge do you recommend for a 998cc Mini Moke?

Is it really worthwhile installing an oil pressure gauge?

If so, is is an easy installation?

Note that Nigel uses Smiths gauges.

So which water temperature gauge is the most recommended?

An electric one is the simplest to fit by far. Just connect it to the warning light sensor and the voltage stabiliser and you’re done. You can get them calibrated in degrees C, but most just have H,N and C on the scale which is fine because all you need to know is if the temp is rising suddenly

I have cheapo temperature gauge. It's not very reliable, keeps showing that the engine is hot. It could be because its 40°C today!
