Minispares Bottom Hose

Post by johng »

When I replaced the warped water pump after cooking my engine - I saw that on my bottom hose the heater branch was de-vulcanising and the 1/2 - 5/8 reducer to the heater was some sort of metal tube corroding . Easily replaced reducer with plastic from E-bay. Ordered new hose from Minispares .
Spent quite a while trying to fit radiator back without success until I realised I had to cut 1 & half inches off the bottom rad connection as it was fouling the block.
Easy when you know how but a sod when you can't see or feel anything .... lots of cuts & scraped skin from the plastic fan - LOL
