Re: Fuel tank gauge
Doug, I'm pretty certain these are NLA. You could try The Mini King though, he may still have one NOS. Miniman@healey.com.au
As mentioned last time you ask this question, the Mini van one is similar but is retained by bolts around its rim, and you need the locking ring style. You could mix and match parts. They are all the same electrically.

No Longer Available
New Old Stock
Mini King, John Smidt, bought up a big inventory of new parts when the spare parts suppliers for Mokes (and several other Leyland Australia cars) stopped supplying, i.e. their old stock. This is described as new old stock. Leyland Australia closed up 30 years ago, so the uniquely Australian parts are getting hard to find. At the very least all owners of Australian Mokes should have a copy of his catalog, because it lists all the Australian parts alongside the Mini (Australian and UK) equivalents. It lets you see what else used the same part, or at least how similar the other parts are.

Re: Fuel tank gauge
Yes, but he's hopeless, he's mucked up several ebay orders that I've had from him. He's not trying to rip you off, he's just disorganised and not completely comfortable with the internet. Bear with it and I'm sure it will be fine.Nigel(no top)Sykes wrote:Talking of him, I won an ebay auction for a pair of hood clips off of him, but even after two emails I've had no reply !... Doug, are you still looking for that sender? I think I have a new one.

Re: Fuel tank gauge
I have a new sender unit.
However I keep forgetting to install it every time the fuel tank gets low. IE less fuel to pump/syphon out store and replace.
I must get around to it.
