Tank Help?

Tank Help?

Have taken the tank out, and bought a Frosts tank repair kit - but have found a problem. The fuel pipe has a gauze on the end of it and I cant see how to get it out - I cant use the liquid liner unless it can be removed.
Does anyone know what I can do or how to repair the tank?

What is the fault with the tank?

We had a few leaks around the drain plug area - have cleaned it and repaired with fiber glass, and now are keeping fingers well crossed!
It seems to be OK for now!
