I am told by m-parts that the sender for a 1989 Portuguese Moke is no longer made.
If anyone might suggest a reasonable alternative I would be delighted to hear what it is.
Thanks,
Jan

Re: Fuel tank sender
A few years ago there was a link on here to an Australian website that had a comprehensive description of the different types of senders, their replacements and how to repair them.
I remember I used it when I repaired my Aussie one......although that is an earlier type. I’d stand correction here because I’m quoting from a (very old) memory but I seem to recall that the later Aussie, and therefore Portuguese senders are interchangeable with saloon units.
You’d need to do some internet research though.

Hi Jan. Leo at Mokepanels supply's Portuguese tanks with a new sender unit, give him a call, https://mokepanels.com/contact/ although he does not list the sender he must get them from somewhere?
Failing that Jean-Georges at Mokoncept has them https://www.shop.mokoncept.fr/fr/reserv ... 86-95.html

Re: Fuel tank sender
I wonder if they were "out of stock" rather than "NLA" as new stocks were delivered to M Parts today.
They most certainly are NOT discontinued / no longer made. Roger
Should you wish, you can always contact me at M Parts
