wheel offset

Post by badwolf1959 »

Appreciate some advice on wheel offsets .
I have 12" wheels on my Portuguese Moke. Tyres have had it so decided to replace the steel wheels with new alloys and tyres .Fitted with the 8.5" discs upfront and drums at back .
Like to fit 5x12 superlight with 165/60 tyres .

The offset is +14 will this push the wheel too far out and catch the plastic arches ?

When i say the tyres have had it the rears were fitted 14 years ago and now have some very interesting crazing on the side walls !!!!!!
Dont think superglue will fix it . :o

Hi, we have these on our Portuguese :- https://www.johnbrownwheels.com/product ... 2-rml.html with a Falken tyre, and they just come under the wheel arch. I have taken our splash guards off, and not had any problems.
