There isn't really an ebay NZ, its just a subset of the global ebay, for some reason NZ has TradeMe instead. When you list something on ebay you can select whether to list it just in your own country, in a subset of countries or the whole world. I suspect that because ebay nz doesn't really exist it shows international listings. When I look on ebay Australia I see a lot of stuff for sale in the UK, but not everything, it depends on whether the seller wants to take money from Johnny Foreigner or not.

Hi Tim, thanks for that, never realised NZ did not have a separate Ebay. You learn something everyday.

Hi Nigel, there are very few Mokes in NZ, the couple of Kiwis on the Australian Moke forum really had to search to find them.

I'm not sure of the exchange rate between NZ and the UK, but at the moment neither currency is worth much here. Just checked 1 NZD = 52P

The problem with TradeMe is that you have to be a Kiwi (or an Aussie) to be a member, and most sellers require a bank transfer for payment which is difficult and expensive from overseas. I'm a member, but I've never bought anything through it because its to hard to pay and the freight is quite expensive. I'm going over there in a few weeks (whisper it, but my wife's family are Kiwis). I'd like to bring back one of their rare Minis, but I'd have to sell my house to pay the shipping and quarantine fees to get it back here.

Are you thinking about emigrating again? I thought you were already a Kiwi, the only Maori with a Yorkshire accent?

NZ is great, it would be a perfect place to live if it was geologically stable. I see its settling down again, Christchurch has only had 38 quakes this past week.
