I think that in these circumstances the YO-HO carries more weight.

But as i said, i couldn't get any weight behind it, until i dropped the subframe. so i had more room to work on it.

It's a while since I did it and yes it was stuck and yes I got it out I think I used leverage - a suitably sized socket on the pin then a tyre lever wedged in somewhere and gentle help from a BFH

I'm getting a bit worried now. I've never, ever, had a problem getting one of these pins out !
What am I doing wrong ?

You're probably using too much grease. :)

Well, i can understand why mine was stuck. Most of my suspension needs replacing, and all my subframe mounts, and the moke hasn't moved in about 15 years.
I'm sure it would have been a simple job if the car was running, and you regularly apply grease to all the appropriate nipples.

The operative words there are 'darkred]IF[/color]' and 'darkred]AND[/color]'. :lol:
