Optional rear seats from an English Moke

Post by Mini Power »

Hello,

What were the optional rear seats from an English moke '68
Can it be fitted with a wooden rear bench?

We own one, but not de rear seats...
I've heard they are hard to find? ;)

Does somebody have more steel frontseats?

I could possibly obtain a couple, BUT I am in the Caribbean and the shipping costs would be horrendous. :)

Doug, I don't know if shipping would be the killer on those...
There was a thread on on the MiniMania message board last winter for two English metal seats. Asking price was $400.... EACH! Dunno if he ever got his price though...
I'm just happy mine came with all four.
Wasn't someone reproducing these in fiberglass a while back?

To feel the pain from an English Moke seat, makes you realise you are alive, also keeps you awake, you wouldn't want to fall asleep in a moke falling out could be more painful. I can confirm that the only vehicle we own that I have never fallen asleep in (as passanger) is the moke.
