Re: # of posts under your name?
The counter was removed some time ago to discourage pointless and time wasting "Post races" which only go to devalue the usefulness of this forum.Doug G wrote:Why don't the number of posts show under your name at the side of the posts that you have made any more?
It worked for a while.

Re: # of posts under your name?
Dean is quite right chaps (and lasses). Let us not devalue the forum with pointless and time wasting "Post races".
I myself with over 2,183 posts of the 7,025 total to date (nearly a 1/3 ) have been guilty (along with Nigel at one point) of a post race in the dim and distant past.
Apologies, especially as the forum only had about 1,000 posts at the time when I joined.
It must be appreciated that there are only a few short flurries of such light hearted posts from time to time.
Please remember that of the 298 listed users, only 15; ie less than 5%; have over 100 posts.
Also some 38 listed users have 10 posts
and some 48 have less than 10 posts each.
The remainder of users have 0 posts.
In that they have never posted and quite possibly, in many cases, have abandoned the forum.
I would suggest that it is therefore beholding on us, the members to post on the forum, to post and thereby try and encourage other individuals to posts and make this forum a forefront icon in the Mini Moke world.
Now how do we go about that?
[Answers on the forum - not on a postcard, thanks]
