Not really, if its only dripping out slowly its unlikely that the amount of fuel vapour will reach the point of being dangerous in the engine bay of a moving car. If it was really pouring out and the car was stationary it would be a lot riskier. I once did a long trip from Hobart to Sydney, which is around 1200Km each way. I had a faulty needle valve and I was only getting 70km to the tank, the rest was pouring out of the top of the carby. I couldn't get a replacement needle so I pushed on, but nothing happened apart from the damage to my wallet.
