A few years ago, I was in one of the "major" breweries based in St. Louis that's now owned by a Belgian company being run by a guy from Brazil??? What the hell happened to "local ownership" ???? But I digress.
I was doing work on a "pilot line" (used for experimental products/packaging) They had a machine in line that would place those types of caps/corks with the wire bail on the bottles at 400 per minute......
unfortunately, the machine wasn't being used for the project I was working on.
And, as much as I tried, I couldn't get any of the mechanics to open up the hidden areas where the machine did it's magic. So, I never did figure out how it did the work........ Hope to get back in there someday.
