Re: Christmas Mini Moke (token decoration)
The badge is a bit scruffy and has been re-painted.
Do you honestly really want the "AUSTIN MOKE' badge?
I'd give it to you, but (there always is a but) I'd like to put a moke type badge (doesn't have to be an 'Austin Moke' badge) in its place.
Even something like this
Wanna swap?

Where did you get that badge Doug?
You've got a piece of the proverbial rocking horse there.

It came with the Mini Moke when I bought it.
As My Mini Moke has an Aussie body I suspect it was 'rescued' and recycled from an 'English" Mini Moke.
Am I righti n that Aussie Mini Mokes were not produced with a 'Austin Moke' badge?
PS Forgive me but bring me up to speed, what is the proverbial rocking horse?

My Mini Moke is a reconstituted one, cannabalized from bits and bobs of other Mini Mokes.

Re: Christmas Mini Moke (token decoration)
It is an Aussie badge. English Mokes only had "Morris" or "Austin" on the badge, no mention of Mini or Moke.
Apparently, Austin was not popular (or even used) in Oz but Morris was so they fitted the "Morris Mini Moke" badge to Mokes sold in Australia. However, the Moke was exported to many other countries where Austin was the preference and so the "Austin Mini Moke" badge was fitted to Mokes destined to certain countries (don't ask me what countries). When they dropped the Mini reference, the badges changed to just Austin or Morris.
