Hi All,
Carole Potter sent me the attendees list for the Christmas dinner and Lester's not on there, so hopefully he will post me the rivets, not a problem as it will be into the new year befor I take the windscreen out, still cannot decide if I should get the frame powder coated or just spray it. Any thoughts?

Isn't easier to 'repair' any minor damage (e.g. flying road chips) to a spray painted surface than it is to a powder coated one?

Hi Doug, I hadnt thought of repairs after getting the frame recoated -----ummmmm----- perhaps spraying it may be a better option, as you say it will be easier to touch up afterwards if required.
Cheers

The bumper bars on mine were powder coated (before it came to me). They are still in great condition whereas there are several chips and rust in the paintwork. Powder coating seems to be much more durable

I don't have that problem. We don't have powder coating facility here (at the moment).

Hi Nigel,
The bumper bars on mine are powder coated and I have touched them up with a black paint spray and it seems to have stayed on. Think I will get a quote for powder coating the windscreen frame, be interesting to see if they can match the colour, although it is plain white at the moment (not Old English White as per the rest of the Moke - errrrrr except the hood frames which are also plain white!).

Hi Lester (okeymonkey)
Did you not get my text with my address on? No sign of any rivets as yet? They would be most appriciated. Will not be tackling the windscreen frame until early next year so no rush.
Cheers
