I also had a 'friendly' conversation with him - stating that it is a very interesting car - the Vin tells us it is a Mk1 Austin 2 door saloon, it's quite smart, but it isn't a Moke. I pointed him towards some listings of real Mokes including a rather nice 1965 one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330918871784? ... 1423.l2649 to allow him to compare pictures between the 'Tango pram' as I think would be a good name for it and a proper Moke.

This was the reply  I no what a moke is mate ive had a 1975 white one for about 15 years in st tropez.

Everyone keeps telling me that this is not a Moke. Someone offered me 10k in st tropez for it but i have heard that it is worth more. Theres no luck on ebay so i might take it off and keep it.

Ben.

Two possible things are happening - 1. double density problem - won't be told and should have gone to Specsavers or 2. It's a club member having a belated April fool session to see how many posts it can generate on the forum :P

Seller has reverted to nervous laughter and name calling now. I'm sure this is just a wind up - no-one would be so blatantly ignorant or thick. Seeing the iPhone screen in the listing, I would guess the 'Tango Pram' is as much a Moke as it is a 4x4

The previous owner posted some older pictures and a short description on the maximum mini facebook page, not sure how to copy that but someone else probably knows.
The garage was too short for a full sized moke, so I just bought a Schmitt ;-)
