The Cotswold Classic Mini Tour

Mini Fixers are holding the third Cotswold Classic Mini Tour on Sunday 28 July and all Moke owners are most welcome. See the pictures on the website to see the only two Mokes that came last year. More woild be most welcome.

Every year we plan a different route around the beautiful Cotswold countryside for Classic Minis and derivatives . Previous entrants will know we try to make the midpoint an interesting if not exciting place and this year will be no exception.

The start is at the Fairford Leisure Centre and the finish is at The Trout Inn Lechlade on Thames. The route will pass through picturesque Cotswold villages, along narrow country lanes with gorgeous views, & across the occasional ford.

Camping available at The Trout Inn for as long before and after as you like. For those how prefer a warm bed and a breakfast cooked by someone else we have published a list of local B&Bs on the Mini Fixers website.

Avid readers of Moking will have seen the front cover on issue 135 - taken during the 2012 CCMT with the Mini Fixers. This is a great and exeptionally well organised event. I highly recommend it.

The applications are now pouring i - we would love to see a few Mokes though.
We've got a fabulous new route this time with a very interesting mid-point that we think Mini people will enjoy.

It is essentially a one day event on Sunday but camping is available before and after if you want. There is also a list of local B&Bs on the website www.minifixers.co.uk on the documants page.

Here you can find application forms for a single Mini or rather a Moke, an application form for several Minis/Mokes and a list of B&Bs for those who want to make a weekend of it by coming the day before and would prefer that to camping at the Trout Inn.

In addition to the Tour around the beautiful Cotswolds Mini Fixers are pleased to announce that The Cotswold Classic Mini Tour will be running in conjunction with The Riverfolk Festival at The Trout Inn Lechlade-on-Thames on the weekend of 27-8 July. There will be FREE musical entertainment on Saturday from noon 'till 11:00pm and Sunday from noon 'till 7:00pm. Last year the Riverfolk Festival (unfortunately not on our weekend) was full of amazingly high quality local talent. Not to be missed whenever it's on.
