Pictures within posts
Dean,
Quite often I cannot 'see' pictures that are within posts i.e.
In 'Cooling, Fuel, Exhaust'
Suggestions-air filter twin 1-1/4 SU's
by Robin Jones » Thu Aug 15, 2013 0:10
Yes, the airbox arrived in outstanding condition. (As expected. I've had dealings in the past with Nick)
This is what it's going to pretty much cover up:
I can see them when I log in on my Samsung Tablet but not when I'm on my Dell desktop running microsoft?
Any ideas what the problem is?
Chris

Hi Chris,
I've got a suspicion about that photo in particular (even though I can see it) but can you let me have links to a few more examples of missing images so I know for sure.
Thanks,
Dean

Re: Pictures within posts
Photobucket offers four types of links to use to share your photos and you select which method you want to use by using this box.
I think the photos you couldn't see were using the "IMG" link but for some reason, you (and possibly others) can't see them (probably due to what browser you use and how it is setup).
The way that seems to work the best (so everyone can see the photos) is by using the "Direct" link option and enclosing the link with Img tags in posts. That's what I did for the photos above that you can now see.

Just a test....

Dean, using the direct link seems to make it only as a clickable link to the hosting site.... No picture shows up for me.

Hi Robin,
You still have to enclose the link with image tags for it to appear.
Highlight the link and click the Img button above the post box and voilà !
