That's a bunch of cash..... :o
The continuous "grab bar" or whatever is an interesting thing.... makes you wonder the thought process behind it.

Interesting.
It's one of the "Export" Mokes with a rear mounted fuel tank. But in this case, the filler has been plated over and a side fill tank is in use.
Maybe the bar is some sort of safety feature?

Wow! The paint is amazing, but other than that its not that special -IMO. Maybe if I knew who Ed Hemming and Bob Snodgrass were...

Looks a little low at the front - may need some new rubber cones?

Bob Snodgrass was a driving force at Brumos Porsche racing. Probably one of the most famous endurance race teams in North America...... There again, that's probably on par with the more famous spelling bee champions.... There's a hard core fan base for endurance racing. It's just not that large.

Never heard of 'em, but then I'm not in the least interested in motorsport - or Porsches.

I've seen Mokes sell for big money in the past ($30k AUD range), I won't say crazy, as that's up to the buyer, however, even given this ones background, it is HUGE money, just HUGE.
Old Mokers never die, they just smell that way.

Indeed, half that money would buy a spectacular Moke in Australia.

Erm, BTW, just to let you know that you can buy mine (two years younger) for half that price, AND I'll make sure it has a full tank of fuel. :D

Make your request for purchase on this forum.
Having a moking good time!
