Condensor

Post by Doug G »

How does one test the single wire condenser in the distributor to determine if it is working, working well or not ?

With a condensor tester, although many distributor testers can do them to a degree. Another way, if the car runs, is with an automotive ocilliscope!

Yeap, that's usually as helpful as a singlet with pockets, however a more practical way is to swap it over, a new one shouldn't cost too much at all.

I bought a new one US$15.00.

It wasn't at fault.
