Tony,
That sounds like a really good fun and interesting weekend.
As I said at the IMM it's a pity my Moke won't be ready by then.
Looking forward to when you organise the second one in a couple of years and I have a Moke to turn up in !

Have fun, I'm dead jealous of all those that will go.

Good luck

My Moke is Bembridge-based. She's one of at least three I know of on the island.

Hoping to make this meeting (school commitments allowing). Feel free to ask about locations etc on the IoW.

Hi dpstjp, my Moke is also Bembridge based, perhaps we should arrange a meet sometime.

I did see one parked outside Gail the barber's shop over the summer, and it was down the hill by Pump Lane once as well.

Where do you get her serviced? I bought mine at the beginning of the summer and immediately took her to St Helens Service Station. It's the only time I've ever had three "dangerous" advisory notices on an MOT refusal form. Happily all sorted now.

There's also quite an active Morris Minor Owners Club on the IoW.

Hi dpstjp,
Yes that would be mine outside Gails and the Pilot Boat, sort of maroon in colour, I used to use St.Helen's garage but now go to GP. Did you acquire your Moke on the island?

Hi Aubrey, Helena,
Be great to see you in our neck of the woods, will try and arrange for it to be sunny.

Regards

No, I imported her from the mainland. One of her previous owners lived in Wooton Creek though; she'd also been owned by Lady Annabel Goldsmith.

After a sojourn to the South of France she ended up in the Wset Country.

Hi djstjp
Sounds like quite a chequered history, does it happen to be white in colour and F reg?

That's right.

The white is sadly unoriginal, she was orange at one point according to the docs. I need to sort the rust out at some point. Heaven knows what the true odometer reading is.

It's the only car I've ever had that guarantees a smile every time I drive her.

Bit worried this weekend clashes with my mother-in-laws 90th.
