Brake Servo
Has anyone put an in servo (like the Cooper S) in the front brake line successfully?

Re: Brake Bias Valve
Yes, but I'll add that while I haven't done it, I have helped a few friends fit them. There is just enough room to fit one in kinda sensibly under the bonnet but it does make other normal maintenance tasks painful. The usual place to put them in a Moke is in the front RH pod, the only 'difficulty' with this is instead of only running a single brake line down through here, you'll have 3 and a Vacuum Line. It's more compact to run the Vacuum Line in 10 mm pipe instead of a 1/2" hose (which is about 3/4 OD).govig wrote:Has anyone put an in servo (like the Cooper S) in the front brake line successfully?
I may have some pics I'll dig out later and post up.
Old Mokers never die, they just smell that way.

Re: Brake Servo
Your one lucky guy! I actually remembered to dig out the pics.
This is a mate's Moke, he did this conversion last year.
Booster (Aust Made / Copy) PBR type VH44);-
Vacuum Take Off;-
And here, you'll see the black hose disappearing through the inner guard, he routed it through the wheel arch as he couldn't get enough room inside the cover (the one next to your knee) to get this hose in there, this is why I suggested ^ trying to get a hold of some 10 mm pipe;-

Re: Brake Servo
Cheers spider : ) I wouldn't choose to put the servo there but it is out of the way.
