Re: Seat belt question
They only had Lap Belts in the front and nothing in the back, unless rear seats were factory fitted (optional!).
The Lap / Sash wasn't fitted until November 79 and even then, ONLY in the Californian Models (both 998 and 1275), the base model retained the Lap (only) belts until the end here.

Old Mokers never die, they just smell that way.

Re: Seat belt question
If you fit a roll cage it will have mounting points for a three point belt fitting on it. They used to be produced by safety devices. I used to have one on my Moke but took it off as it made rear seat access a bit of a faff, nowadays I've got 3point inertia reel belts in the front mounted on the lap belt fitting with a 5mm steel lifting plate to raise the belt roll. The MOT man doesn't have any problems with it.
The Mokes also got lap belt mounting captive nuts if or the rear seats (1972 vintage standard model)
